F8 is Around the Corner

By Deborah Liu

F8, our annual developer conference, is less than one week away on April 18th & 19th at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. We'll be sharing product announcements across our family of apps, and there are plenty of ways for you to get involved whether you plan to attend in person or remotely.

Attending in Person?

Download the F8 App: The official F8 app is now available for download from the App Store and Google Play. To help you navigate the conference, we've designed the app to be your personal guide for all things F8. Stay up to date on the latest announcements, customize and share your personalized schedule and browse venue maps and demos. New this year is the ability to view session videos on demand!

Arrive Early to San Jose McEnery Convention Center: Plan ahead with the Getting Here section of our website. Badges are available for pickup starting at 8 am PDT on April 18th. Please remember you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID to verify your identity at the event. Come early to grab breakfast at the San Jose Convention Center before the keynote starts across the street at the City National Civic at 10 am PDT.

Connect with the Messenger F8 Bot: At this year's conference, Messenger will launch its F8 bot to give you details on each session, build your F8 community, unlock access to features, win swag, and more via m.me/messengerf8bot. If you don't have Messenger installed already, download for iOS or Android here.

Can't Make it in Person?

No problem. There are a few ways that you can stay involved without being in San Jose, California.

Watch F8 Online: You can watch the F8 keynotes live from anywhere in the world by RSVPing to our Facebook event. Additionally, all sessions will be available video on demand in the app and on our website.

Join an International Meetup: Following up on the popularity of last year's international F8 Meetups, we're hosting 45 local events on April 18 and 19 in a variety of cities around the world to watch the opening keynote and network with the local developer community. Space is limited, so register now to attend.

For more information, check out our F8 website and FAQs to see the latest event information. Looking forward to seeing you there!
