You must be accepted into the Approved Partner Program before your game can go live on Instant Games. This guide walks you through the application process, requirements, and what to expect after approval.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following set up before applying:
  • Facebook Business account — Create one at business.facebook.com if you don’t already have one.
  • Facebook Developer account — Register at developers.facebook.com.
  • App Dashboard access — You need access to the Instant Games and Review tabs for your app.
  • Business verification — Complete business verification for your Facebook Business account if you haven’t already.
  • App associated with your business — In the App Dashboard, associate your app with your Facebook Business. You must be a business administrator to do this.

How to Apply

Step 1: Open the Application

  1. Log in to developers.facebook.com.
  2. Select your app from the App Dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Instant Games > Review in the left sidebar.
  4. Select the Approved Partner Program application.

Step 2: Complete the Application

Fill out all required fields. Note that the application must be submitted in English.
You will need to provide:
  • Business information — Verify that your business name, address, and contact details are accurate.
  • Meta business contact — Provide your current point of contact at Meta, if you have one.
  • Company description — Describe your team, your goals as a developer, and the games you have built or plan to build for Instant Games.
  • Links to live games — Include links to your iOS or Android games on app stores or gaming websites. This helps Meta evaluate your track record as a game developer.

Step 3: Submit and Wait for Review

After submitting, Meta will review your application. You will be notified of the outcome through the App Dashboard.
  • If accepted — You can proceed to set up and submit your game. See Getting Started for next steps.
  • If rejected — You may resubmit after 180 days, provided you can demonstrate material changes to your business (for example, new published titles, expanded team, or updated portfolio).

Ongoing Requirements

Approved Partner status is not permanent. To maintain your status, you must:
