Meta believes in the principle of data portability. If you share data with one service, you should be able to move it to another. This gives people choice and enables developers to innovate and compete.
Data portability requires common standards, which is why we support standard data transfer formats and are Data Transfer Initiative (DTI) partners, building our data portability solutions using open-source software such as the Data Transfer Project.
