Places Graph endpoints now return a new type of Place ID. Please ensure that your integration works as expected. Older versions of the API will continue returning the old type of IDs until August 1, 2018.
Places Graph has three components: a set of REST APIs for web apps, and two Facebook SDKs—one for iOS apps, and one for Android apps. All three components provide access to the following place-related functionality:
Search for places within a specified radius, and receive a list of places filtered by specified category (for example, restaurants).
By providing raw location signals (GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth), retrieve a list of place candidates along with confidence level estimates—that your user is at those places.
By providing a place ID, retrieve place-related information about the place (for example, address and hours of operation).
