Pages API

The Pages API allows apps to access and update a Facebook Page's settings and content, create and get Posts, get Comments on Page owned content, get Page insights, update actions that Users are able to perform on a Page, and much more.

Beginning October 2, 2020, we will begin migrating select Facebook Pages to the New Page Experience. The New Page Experience API allows your app to manage the New Page Experience for Pages to drive public content, engagement, and discourse on your Facebook Page.

Beginning October 14, 2020, the pages_show_list permission will require App Review.

You will need to request access through App Review if:

  • Your app is requesting the pages_show_list permission for the first time.
  • Your app has not used the pages_show_list permission within the last 90 days.

If your app has previously been approved for any of the following permissions through App Review no action is required:
