In order for merchants to start selling on Facebook Marketplace or Instagram Shopping with Checkout there are few steps that required by platforms or merchants themselves.
Contact your Facebook representative to whitelist your merchants to be able to apply for Facebook Marketplace distribution. If you whitelisted for this functionality your merchants will see the opportunity in the Commerce Manager Settings Sales Channel management section to activate marketplace:
After a merchant clicks on the activation button the request will be reviewed by Facebook Ops team and the result will be displayed here.
Alternatively you can use the Marketplace approval API to verify a merchant eligibility.
Contact your Facebook representative to whitelist your merchants to be able to apply for Instagram Shopping with Checkout. We are working on an Instagram experience that will allow your merchants to apply themselves. If the merchant is whitelisted for this functionality the commerce manager experience for onboarding will include Instagram:
If a merchant is already onboarded there will be an Instagram channel available in Commerce Manager Settings Sales Channel management section:
After selecting and saving an Instagram account the merchant should see their account linked in the Sales Channels.
