Hi everyone,

We are currently migrating our game to Facebook Instant Games, and we encountered a problem while trying to complete the localization requirement from the Meta Quality Review.

The review team previously told us that our game was not fully localized for the intended audience, so we tried to add English localization through:

Meta Developer Dashboard → My Apps → Instant Games → Details → Localize

However, we are unable to save the English localization.

The strange part is that there is no error message shown in the dashboard. The changes simply cannot be saved.

Our developer investigated the issue using the browser Developer Tools (F12), and we found this validation error:

creator_name: "Length of param name_placeholder must be greater than or equal to 3"

We then tested this with multiple different App IDs and discovered the following:

When Info About Publisher is filled in → English localization cannot be saved. When Info About Publisher is empty → English localization can be saved normally.

This makes us believe that the creator_name validation is related to the Publisher Information.

However, there is another problem: once the Publisher Information has been filled in, we cannot clear/remove it and return it to a completely blank state through the dashboard.

So we are currently stuck:

Publisher Information filled → Localization cannot be saved

Publisher Information empty → Localization works

But we cannot make the Publisher Information empty again.

We have been investigating this issue for around one month, including testing different App IDs and checking the browser Developer Tools, but we have not found a solution.

Meta Support has advised us to seek assistance from the Developer Community because this appears to be outside their current support scope.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Instant Games localization, creator_name, or Publisher Information?

Any workaround or solution would be greatly appreciated. If someone from the Meta Developer team has encountered this issue before, we would also appreciate any guidance on how to resolve it.
