Starting yesterday (10 Nov) we started to get this error while uploading reels through graph api.
We do a 2 step uploading to meta.
On second step we are receiving -Supplied user is not the creator of this video for a percentage of our uploads.
Any one got this?

We are also having this problem..
2025-11-11 21:00:12 - uploadReelsVideo catch result:: {"debug_info":{"retriable":false,"type":"ProcessingFailedError","message":"{\"success\":false,\"error\":{\"message\":\"Supplied user is not the creator of this video 1538986747115844\"}}"}}
Got fixed on 14 nov thanks.

I have opened a bug form https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/733041619108459/
In the meantime i saw that the error appears randomly, so retrying the request might be a temporary fix.

Most of the time it triggers the same error, but that's true, I tried many times and occasionaly it does work.

we have a retry system, but still would be nice to be fixed

for me bug has "Status: Closed"

status appears closed but the bug is still there

@Nicu .. what does your retry logic look like? Is is helping? We implemented retry the same upload to the same container up to 60 times and that doesn't help.
Then we try creating a new container each time (up to 60 retries) and that doesn't help.
Curious to see and learn how your retry logic works. That would be very much appreciated.

Ironically retries would make the problem Meta is facing even harder to fix.
But this is the only way to try to workaround issues we can't fix.

We added retries and that didn't help ... actually it made it worse and temporarily blocked users to too many retries. I highly suggest you not do any excessive retries to protect your users.

Just sent four reels in a row on two pages—maybe they’re fixing the issue? Anyone else able to send stuff again? Everything I tried the past few days kept failing. This is promising.
