WhatsApp Coexistence Accounts are being disconnected from my App

Hi everyone,

Since last week, we’ve been troubleshooting an issue related to WhatsApp Business Account connections.

We are a Tech Provider using the Facebook JS SDK for onboarding. The issue seems to affect Coexistence connections specifically.

We’re seeing two main problems:

  1. Already-onboarded users are being randomly disconnected Users who were previously connected through Coexistence are losing their connection unexpectedly.

  2. New onboarding and reconnection attempts are failing When new users try to onboard, or when previously disconnected users try to reconnect, the flow fails.

This behavior started happening around last week. We haven’t made major changes to our onboarding implementation, so we’re trying to understand whether there were any recent changes, outages, policy updates, SDK changes, or backend changes affecting Coexistence connections for Tech Providers.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with WhatsApp Coexistence connections recently?

Any guidance or confirmation would be appreciated.
