It is Thanksgiving week in the US, so we are posting our weekly roundup early. This seems like an ideal time to say thanks to the Facebook developer community. We believe strongly in the future of social applications and are thankful for all the developers that are working together with us to achieve it.
New Targeted Publishing Capabilities
We’ve added location and language targeting for Page publishing using the Graph API. This enables developers to send more relevant posts to users and brings these APIs to parity with the targeting options accessible from the Pages publisher.
Impressions for Page Posts
To help Page owners optimize their publishing strategy, we now provide per-story impression data in the Insights dashboard. In the past, this information was only available for Pages with more than 10,000 likes, but it is now included for all Facebook Pages. With this enhancement, unique users who see your Page’s posts will now be included in the Active User count for your Page. As a result, you may see an increase in your Active User count.
Operation Developer Love
In addition to the regular stats, we wanted to call out the resolution of a long-standing bug that impacted a number of developers: "Make FB.ui work". This bug was actually ~10 bugs bundled into one and took some time to fix completely. Naitik Shah did a great job getting this fairly complex set of issues addressed as quickly as possible.

We continue making regular improvements to the developer site. Over the past two weeks, we have updated both a great deal of the documentation and enabled commenting throughout all the reference docs on the site. This is a good opportunity for you to contribute your own insights and also give us feedback in the context of the document.
Lastly, while we continue to make progress on bugs and forums, we realize that we have just begun. We know that any issue that impacts your application is frustrating, as your business depends on a stable Facebook platform. We are working as hard and as fast as we can. If you are experiencing an issue that is blocking your application or business, please file a bug in Bugzillawith repro steps. We are triaging everyday, so we will see it and work to get it addressed.
