Introducing new features for Instagram Partnership Ads API: Testimonials, Advantage+ Catalog, Lead Generation and other improvements

By Sulyn Oum Kulick

We’re excited to announce a bundle of new features to advance our Partnership Ads API and help third party partners scale and optimize their partnership ads campaigns. These new features are now rolled out to all users and available in GA to all developers, agencies and advertisers.

  • Partnership ads with a testimonial – Add authentic creator testimonials as featured comments in partnership ads that drive improved ad performance and trust. Learn more about partnership ads with a testimonial here.
  • Leverage partnership ads with Advantage+ Catalog – Partnership Ads API provides partnership ads in conjunction with Advantage+ Catalog in two new formats - Collections and Carousel Intro Card, and unlocks the ability to use existing posts as the creative. Learn more about partnership ads with Advantage+ Catalog here.
  • Lead Generation Objective – Run lead gen campaigns directly via the partnership ads API for all creation flows that will gather contact information from people who might be interested in your product or service. Learn more about Lead Generation in partnership ads here.
  • Bi-Directional Post improvement – Enable advertisers to discover both creator and self-branded organic content posts, unlocking new inventory for the Partnership Ads API. Learn more about Bi-Directional partnership ads here.

All these configurations and improvements are built on the existing Instagram Partnership Ads API, for all available versions, and no additional app permissions are required.

Thank you for partnering with Meta. These new Partnership Ads API features are now available to help you drive better results and scale your campaigns. Explore the developer documentation to get started today!
