Wrapping up F8 2015

March 31, 2015ByRaghu Nayani

F8 this year was the largest Facebook developer conference to date - thank you to everyone who attended or watched with us over the live stream.

At the two-day event in San Francisco, more than 2,500 developers came together to learn about building, growing, and monetizing apps with Facebook tools. We unveiled dozens of new products, including Messenger Platform, Facebook Analytics for Apps and Parse for the Internet of Things. We updated our community on how Facebook has evolved from a single app into a family of apps and services, and how developers can leverage these products to build great experiences that help people connect and share. We also shared a glimpse into the future, with our day 2 keynote previewing the next-generation technologies we're building to connect the world.

Over the two days, we held 40 sessions on topics ranging from open source to Facebook Login and mobile monetization. All keynotes, sessions and panels are now available at: https://developers.facebooklive.com/.

The fun wasn't limited to San Francisco — we were also joined by more than 170,000 developers across the world via the F8 live stream. Online attendees viewed hours of live content including exclusive interviews and behind the scenes F8 footage.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us last week. F8 is dedicated to the global developer community, and we're excited to continue working together as we build and grow great businesses that help make the world more open and connected.
