Since last Wednesday's update, we shared best practices for mobile login and clarified our policies.
Earlier this year we launched Global Pages, a new Pages structure for Pages with an international presence. In our December 19th update, we introduced two temporary fields (global_brand_like_count
and global_brand_talking_about_count
) so that Pages could continue to easily access country-level insights about their Pages after transitioning to this new structure. We stated that these would be live until January 19th 2013. As the January 19th date has now passed, we have removed the temporary fields.
We are introducing new and updated game categories to the App Center to make it easier for people to browse and find games. These changes to genres, such as breaking out "Action & Arcade" into two separate categories, are aimed at helping people find a variety of games and drive more traffic to developers with apps in the App Center. The games category will move to the top of the category list and be prominently displayed with games subcategories below it. We will continue to periodically update game genres to reflect the growing and diverse games ecosystem.
