We're continuing to build upon recent changes we've made to how our platform works for developers, businesses, and people by introducing the following API and product changes. Additionally, our Facebook Platform Policies are being updated as part of these changes, including provisions addressing the transfer of data outside of your app, use of service providers, the processing of data by technology providers, and the ways we monitor compliance with our terms.
Below is a summary of APIs undergoing updates. Additionally, to continue keeping our development platform healthy, we are removing older API endpoints that have not been used anymore by apps. For more details on these changes, please review our changelog.

Device-integrated APIs
We are winding down access to device-integrated APIs that enabled partners to provide Facebook experiences under partnership agreements. We will be working closely with these partners to minimize consumer impact by providing alternative solutions where applicable or leveraging Facebook's sites and apps where relevant.
Implementing additional data protections for people, developers, and businesses using our platforms is our top priority. If your business or service was impacted by these changes and you have an urgent issue in need of resolution, please fill out this form and someone from our team will get in touch with you.
We appreciate your patience while we make these updates, and we look forward to interacting with our tech community next week at F8. If you'd like to be a part of F8 online, we are livestreaming the keynotes, and you can sign up to watch videos of all sessions on our website or attend one of our F8 Meetups.
