App Center is the central place for the over 1 billion people who use Facebook to find and discover games. The App Center docs have all the info you need to get started with listing your game in the App Center. Take advantage of growing your game through the App Center by following these three steps.

  1. Create your App Details page
  2. Categorize your game
  3. Submit your game for review

1. Create your App Details page

Every game has an App Details page that appears in the App Center. App Details pages help people understand what makes your game unique, see screenshots of the experience and log in to start using the game. After people authenticates from an App Details page, they’ll be sent directly into the game. Please read the App Center Tutorial to learn how to create an App Details page for your game.

App Center also supports internationalization of the details page for your game, helping you provide the best experience for people using your app based on their locale. Read Internationalizing App center Tutorial to learn how to get started.

2. Categorize your game

Every game on Facebook must be categorized as a game, along with a subcategory specific to your game genre. It's essential you do this since several game-specific APIs like scores and achievements are gated by an app's category. This is also very important to ensure that people can find your game easily as games in App Center are organized based on their categories. Below are some guidelines for how to subcategorize games.

Subcategory Description
Action Games that are focused on combat or high-intensity competition
(Ex: Offensive Combat and CSR Racing)
Adventure and RPG Turn-based games where players are required to solve puzzles by interacting with others or the environment, mostly in a nonconfrontational way.
(Ex: Wild Ones and Backyard Monsters)
Arcade Bubble games and games with very short levels, simple and intuitive control schemes and rapidly increasing difficulty.
(Ex: Bubble Witch Saga, Angry Birds and Zuma Blitz)
Card Games that revolve around cards.
(Ex: Solitaire Blitz and Gin Rummy)
Casino Games that involve an element of chance.
(Ex: Bingo Blitz, Slotomania and Texas Hold'em Poker)
Family Easy-to-moderately-difficult games that are appropriate for kids or board games.

Hidden object Games where players are required to identify hidden objects in a landscape.
(Ex: Criminal Case and Manor Mystery)
Puzzle Games that require players to solve logic puzzles, match three icons or navigate visual challenges like mazes.
(Ex: Tetris Battle, Candy Crush Saga and Diamond Dash)
Simulation Games that mimic a real or fictional reality.
(Ex: FarmVille 2 and Marketland)
Sports Games that mimic playing sports or managing teams.
(Ex: FIFA Superstars and Madden NFL Superstars)
Strategy Games that require careful thinking and planning.
(Ex: Empires & Allies, Social Empires and Chess with Friends)
Trivia and word Word games and knowledge-based games where players are required to remember names, facts and events.

3. Submit your game for review

You need to submit your game for review before it will be listed in the App Center to help people discover your game. Read the App Center Guidelines to learn eligibility requirements and how you can submit your game for approval in the App Center.
