These signals can help you better understand how users and their friends are responding to your app and its content. Such feedback also contributes to our automated and manual enforcement of apps live on Platform, as monitoring the user experience helps us determine which apps are positively or negatively impacting the Platform ecosystem.
We encourage you to monitor and respond to reports sent to your Developer Contact Email, and to frequent your app’s Insights page. The Insights tool allows you to observe your app’s distribution and many of the signals outlined below.
Users can provide negative feedback on an app in many ways, such as by blocking, uninstalling or reporting the app via links like those on the app's info page.

Users can also block an app via Invitations/Requests.

Users can respond to content produced by an app in many ways.
Feedback for content can include, but is not limited to, hiding or marking stories as spam. Be sure to keep Stream story quality in mind, as it will be judged by the recipient and/or users viewing the story and you want them to respond positively to this content. (Remember, content published to Profiles will potentially appear in the News Feed of that publishing user’s friends.)


For other channels, such as Photos and Events, feedback can include, but is not limited to, untagging, deleting, or reporting Photos; deleting or reporting Events; etc.
