We couldn't replicate this for one of our internal test users. Can you provide a post ID on which the issue occurs?

Ever since og:video:secure_url came out, we have been having issues using it with our app. I finally was able to set up a staging environment to reproduce the exact problem, which is that when video or Flash objects are posted into the news feed by a 3rd party app, they are not played using the secure URL under secure browsing, which causes them to pop out into a new window. Things seem to work in all other cases.
| Steps to Reproduce: | 1) View our object the FB debugger and confirm it has secure_url set: http://www-ganesh0.ffm.am/ganeshr/c-70369793981205 http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/ 2) Use the provided auth token to post the link into my stream (we have been using the Java API), or use another auth token and user as appropriate for your testing / repro setup. 3) Try to click the play button in the post from a news feed while browsing securely. The post will open in another window. NOTE: It seems to work in all other instances: - Browsing unsecurely - Viewing the link in timeline, securely or unsecurely - Posting the link manually through facebook.com viewing it securely or unsecurely |
