Two websites I maintain have both lost thousands of "likes" according to their button counters. This happened sometime in the last week.
One dropped from 61k to 23k

The second dropped from 99k to 91k

In each case you can see the graph counts are maintained correctly, it is just the display of the like button that has changed.
