Hi Ganesh,
This does not repro with my testing. Using 'tags' and 'place' params for creating checkins works for me.
Error code 200 is a permission error. Please make sure you have 'publish_checkins' permissions for your app.

Taggin places / users / etc in posts does not work, even though the API is returning all the error messages one would expect in unsupported cases (i.e. "Cannot specify user tags without a place tag")
