Hi - I was not able to repro this issue. I tried liking the product and clicked on post to facebook without any message and it showed fb_ref parameter in my newsfeed and also in my timeline. I also tried only liking the product and not clicking on post to facebook and it worked as expected. You can check it here: (https://www.facebook.com/anoorin.alalani). Can you please let us know your repro steps?

missing fb_ref parameters in timeline links was marked as a duplicate of this bug.
This issue is a continuation of https://developers.facebook.com/bugs/225825010811641 . I tried to re-open that ticket, but unfortunately didn't manage. Thus I'm reporting a new one.

Consider the following situation in my profile.

I've liked this link: http://www.ecwid.com/demo-frontend.html#ecwid:category=1003&mode=product&product=4024

In the News Feed I see the correct link to that post: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmdemo.ecwid.com%2Fsharer%3Fownerid%3D1003%26productid%3D4024%26fb_ref%3D4024%253A81aa6589c69eb058ae13b3a8b6fbf3a9%26fb_source%3Dhome_multiline&h=QAQGUF6n8AQFlrGFAdAwh56f1QzVIqKIScJGg0GBgjp-MFQ

I say "correct" because the link contains the fb_ref parameter, as expected.

However, the link to the same post in the timeline is different: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmdemo.ecwid.com%2Fsharer%3Fownerid%3D1003%26productid%3D4024&h=qAQG8hl70AQHJyq9y3fBq_NyRieQ2uMst_a6u-g9njO_DKQ&enc=AZOldptTn-F9hXTOj0czwV4G-xtqgdrf8hFXVC6YobH0kKau0E1BMgO8o_J4NTarKqRsoFY_aYgDfzMai5iLv8fP.

As you can see, the fb_ref parameter is unexpectedly missing.
Can you please fix this?
