Developer Alerts: API Errors

Today, we are enabling API error notifications through our Developer Alerts tool to provide critical information about your apps via email and notifications on Facebook.com.

If your app encounters an abnormally high API error rate, you will receive an alert. The alert includes information on the method name along with the error codes and corresponding error descriptions to help you triage the issue.

You can always monitor your App Insights dashboard for an in-depth look at your overall API activity and performance. We're beginning a gradual rollout today and plan to enable it for all apps in the coming weeks.
